At SAAKSH we provide pure Kankrej Gaumata's milk and other related products with an aim to make your life disease free in longer run.
Our Gaumatas are nurtured in fully natural environment surrounded by river, mountains, jungle & graze lands where in they go for daily grazing.
Saaksh Foundation is a charitable trust dedicated to improving human well-being through the use of indigenous desi cow milk and other products. Saaksh has its own Gaushala in Nyhadi, Murbad Tehsil, Thane, Maharashtra which is surrounded by Malshej Ghats on two sides and jungle and grazing land on other two sides. The trust aims to empower communities by promoting the benefits of traditional, locally-sourced natural products including authentic bilona ghee, farm fresh A2 milk and related products along with other hand made products from our Gaushala. All of these are environmentally consciously made and packed in Eco-friendly way to ensure we keep both mother earth and Gaumatas happy!
We try and keep all Gaumatas happy and they are allowed to eat natural herbs from the surroundings as per their own wish. It is said that a happy Gaumata gives all blessing in her milk & hence we aim to improve the milk quality further by getting them in Gaushala only during the night time & milking time leading to free and happy life. When gaumata is free and content her milk, gaumutra & gobar also becomes useful for consumption & medicinal purposes also.
Our milk is taken in a harmonious manner where in the cow is fed in parallel & half milk is given to calf & half is taken by us. This gives happiness to calves & Gau both. In this way we get less but Satvik milk, hence our pricing may seem high as we focus on quality rather than quantity.
Our milk comes from grass-fed cows that graze freely in open fields and nearby jungle and mountains. Thus having access to some of the rare "vanaspati" that are no longer to be found near cities. The milk from such happy cows is not just pure and nutritious but also Theuraptic with immense medicinal value. Desi Kankrej cow A2 milk is very good for digestion and has natural taste which are the added benefits.
Our's is a fully satvik product as we do not exploit our बच्छडे from their mother's milk. We only take out 2 थन milk and our milking process is unique following vedic rules. We obtain milk in parallel while gaumata's बच्छडे are drinking the milk & not by the conventional way which is mostly followed in this field.
Our Gaumatas are also going to field for grazing on daily basis which keeps them happy as they get to graze the herbs as per their own choice which makes them happy and happy gaumata gives good ashish.
Buttermilk (Chass) is carefully obtained from the Vedic Bilona churning method that preserves all goodness of A2 milk and is great for improving digestion.
Plain chass is obtained from pure desi gaumatas dahi with bilona method as recommended in Vedas. It's hand churned with wooden (Sag - popularly know as Teakwood) bilona from fully organic dahi made in earthen pots. Our plain chass is best to consume first thing in morning. When consumed in this fashion on regular basis it gives strength to body and has got other benefits reated to digestive problems.
Masala butter milk - Our masala chass is made out of our own plain chass and has got herbs like dhaniya, jeera, kali mirch, sendha namak, adrak, mirch and bura. Its a perfect blend of these herbs & good in taste can be consumed in between 4 am till evening 4 pm. We recommend our esteemed customers to avoid consumption after 5 pm as vedically it is not considered good to consume chass in night time.
Our butter is the outcome of churning (manthan) using wooden bilona and has a rich flavor with a hue of cream color characteristic of A2 cow milk butter.
A2 Ghee from Desi Cows is super beneficial and has medicinal properties. The Vedic Bilona churning method ensures you get the best quality Ghee.
